good experience but some room for improvement
The large room was a great space to unwind after a day out. Checking in was hassle-free and clear instruction was provided throughout our stay. We appreciated having 24/7 key card access, which allowed us to come and go without any delays.
One aspect we felt could be improved was the dining options available in the hotel.

The staff was supper friendly, provided me with a well-appointed economy twin room. Its service was great. The hotel had a very central setting close to many bars and restaurants...

Consider asking for a room away from the street noise, as it can get loud from nearby bars at night.

Spent here 3 pleasant days and would stay here again. The hotel was an excellent home base for enjoying a central area, so close to all the shops, bars and restaurants, and the beach, bars and cafes. Wake-up service, available in my king room, was a nice bonus. I truly enjoyed a minimalist decor and exceptionally comfortable beds. The staff was amazingly nice, accommodating all the time. The excellent service and the attention to detail!

Prime central location puts you right in the action, with easy access to local nightlife. The breakfast offers fresh-cooked options, a nice touch to start your day.
Issues with the magnetic room key cards made for a few frustrating moments. Keep them away from your phone or face trouble at inopportune times. Some room sizes can feel cramped, especially if you're expecting more space. Lastly, an occasional lack of hot water in the shower is not ideal after a long day. The room amenities could use a boost, particularly a kettle for that much-needed morning coffee.

We loved Douglas the receptionist, he is one of the friendliest helpful guys I have known in any hotel....don't let him go
rooms are a bit small, and could do with a fridge and some coffee making facilities

The location is excellent and is in the heart of the gay area. It is also central to the beach, shops and yet still walkable with a case from the train/bus stations. The hotel has inner rooms without balcony etc, but these are handy if you want a quiet nights sleep - air conditioning is great. The staff speak various languages to a high standard, and its interesting to watch them banter with different nationalities in a morning in each respective language. The breakfast was reasonable and you can eat till your full.
Most facilities are only free with the hotel VIP card which you can only get if you book direct with them. They do not offer the card to guests that do not book direct - even if they are offered a cash payment for the card. A pool would be nice, but with a sauna, and the beach being so close it can be easily forgotten.

The charming cozy decor and well-maintained common areas made it feel like a good retreat in a busy setting, perfect for enjoying a lovely tea in the afternoon sun.
Basic coffee facilities in the room would be nice.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of nightlife and just a short walk to the beach. I loved having a balcony. The room was clean and modern. Breakfast needs work. I experienced inconsistent service, and one morning, there were scrambled eggs I had to collect myself. The breakfast setup felt underwhelming without a view. The noise from the street could be bothersome at times, especially since cleaning services started at 10 AM.

I found Doug, at the desk, always most helpful and very pleasant. Management is lucky to have him. The other young men at the front desk were always personable and helpful. And the lady who prepares the delicious buns for the morning, a most delightful lady, and again most personable. I used the complimentary computer often. Thank you and I look forward to my next stay and would certainly recommend Parrots to anyone.
Not really. I did find the price for the delicious breakfast a little expensive. See below: I did not cardfully read the reviews so canot honestly answer either yes or no. The reason for my choice of Parrots was all of the below mentioned, rate, facilities, location and the recomendation by someone iI met who had stayed there previously.
